Have you “herd” the news?
The Henry Vilas Zoo hosted some special guests this summer in the shape of sculptures designed and created by local and regional artists.
The art was displayed this summer and sold at a live and silent auction event on October 22, 2010 at the Madison Marriott West. In addition to the animals showcased at the zoo, smaller, tabletop-sized animals were on display at retail locations around Madison. These animals, too, were auctioned in October.
Proceeds from the auction event benefitted American Family Children’s Hospital and the Henry Vilas Zoo.
